Some people call me an OG of wedding business marketing, but deep down I'm just another person wearing PJ bottoms on Zoom. I swear a lot, I share my struggles, and I don't pretend to be better than anyone else.
Copywriting is more than just writing, it digs deep into emotions & motivations and this interview with Nikki Groom digs deep too into not just copywriting, but also your why, the dreaded about page, rebranding, burnout & underpricing.
Nikki Groom is an ink slinger, writing for women entrepreneurs all over the globe, helping them to articulate what they do in a way that makes the world sit up and take notice. Her motto is Being who you are + doing things your way = being impossible to ignore. With a motto like that she is a woman after my own heart.
In this episode we’ll cover:

Thanks so much for having me! I had a blast. 🙂
My pleasure! I’m a total fan girl of all that you do and I love the direction that our conversation took 🙂
Well, the feeling’s mutual 😉
I think it is very important to highlight that you don’t have to cater to everyone. If something has that right emotional connection, with native compelling content, you’ll be pulling in the right people. That’s what matters.
Yes indeed! You don’t want 100% of people in the world. You want your 1% slice and to focus 100% on rocking their world.
TOTALLY agree, Theodora. You said it.
