Maybe you think that your wedding business is inclusive and welcoming to LGBT couples, but how do you really know? A lot of wedding professionals are unknowingly turning off couples even though they mean well. Today we’re talking about how to avoid this and how to make sure your wedding business is truly inclusive.

Cicely Rocha-Miller, a long time Phoenix based wedding and event planner at Life Design Event Planning, decided almost 10 years ago to be an outspoken ally for marriage equality. In 2007 she has established an online source for all engaged couples called MRSter (Miss-ter) that unifies all couples when planning wedding day. She educates the wedding industry alongside her business partner, Drew Coleman, with MRSter Speaks programs that teaches event professionals how to truly embrace and celebrate this new market while being truly inclusive. She is passionate about equality and weddings and is looking to focus not just on wedding planning but on the new way we need to think about weddings as a whole. It’s time to talk about the modern union and what it means for generations to come.
