If you’re like most wedding professionals you’ve either thought about or hosted a giveaway of some kind. The logic makes sense, offer your services for free to one lucky winner and the others will be hot leads. Except that’s often not how it shakes out. Today’s podcast guest was part of a giveaway for an entire $40k wedding and it did not turn out the way she anticipated but she learned from it and you can too!
Jennifer Blaske is an Atlanta-based pianist who not only plays for weddings and parties, but also local choirs and musical theater productions. Her musical influences include Billy Joel, Tori Amos, Kate Bush, and Joni Mitchell.
When Jennifer isn’t playing the piano, she’s usually either writing or homeschooling two of her three children. Her book, Confessions of a Wedding Musician Mom, is scheduled to come out in the fall of 2016.
