Some people call me an OG of wedding business marketing, but deep down I'm just another person wearing PJ bottoms on Zoom. I swear a lot, I share my struggles, and I don't pretend to be better than anyone else.
If you listen to The Evolve Your Wedding Business Podcast, you’re the type of photographer who is eager to learn and grow your business. I already wrote a post on 13 podcasts that will make you a better wedding professional but there are so many great podcasts for wedding photographers that I had to share 15 more must-listen podcasts for wedding photographers.
This podcast is hosted by photographer Andrew Hellmich and he interviews successful wedding and portrait photographers and industry experts to reveal their business secrets for your success. Andrew is an excellent interviewer and he manages to get some really amazing guests on the show. I’ve had the pleasure of being on Andrew’s podcast a few times and in this most recent interview, we talked about how to clone your photography clients. His premium membership provides even more value to listeners and he has a great Facebook Ads course that you should definitely check out.
This podcast is hosted by Ben Hartley, an award-winning wedding photographer and photography educator and he talks with other industry experts about how to market and grow your photography business. I love the business focus of this podcast and Ben’s guests always bring a wealth of knowledge to each interview. I know first-hand that Ben is an awesome podcast host because he has interviewed me twice for his podcast. You can listen to our conversations about becoming the CEO of your photography business and finding your ideal client on his show!
Hosted by Paul & Cinnamon Wolfe, this photography, business and blogging podcast for photographers and creative small business owners ranges in topics from marketing & business to photography & technology. If you’re a photographer in your 5 years of business (or beyond that, this stuff is timeless) you’re going to love this show.
Want to make more money in your photography business? This podcast is for you! Brent Mail interviews successful photography business owners and digs deep to find out what’s working in their business so that you can apply it to your photography business to make more profit, live a more fulfilled life and not burn out. Now that’s a mission I can get behind!
You might know Bryan Caporicci from his appearances on my podcast to talk about pricing for profit and redefining busy. As the host of this podcast, Bryan features interviews with the most successful photographers in the world and includes in-depth, actionable conversations that will help you simplify and clarify the business of photography.
This is by far, one of the most fun & light-hearted podcasts for wedding photographers I’ve ever heard. Steven Van Elk and Dustin McKibben co-host this podcast and it’s a brilliant mix of incredibly helpful advice and irreverent humor. This is the first podcast I have ever been a guest on that had a Ducktales quiz round at the end and it was an absolute blast! You can click here listen to that episode all about cloning your best clients and all sorts of other random stuff (like what selling poop teaches you).
The host of this podcast, Allie Siarto, is beloved for her actionable podcast episodes where she shares advice to help you grow and thrive in your own photography business. Her episodes feature business and marketing advice, photography tips, real stories and career inspiration from professional photographers around the world. Allie gets specific with her advice so if you’re looking for that, you’re going to love this podcast.
If you want to get better with your camera or improve your technique with a super supportive mentor, this podcast is for you. Raymond Hatfield is a photographer and he created this podcast to help others develop their photography skills. He has a Facebook community for his listeners where they all help one another get better and I think that’s awesome. This podcast isn’t just about developing your skills, it’s also about how to build a business and Raymond was kind enough to have me on to talk about cloning your best clients. Raymond has actually been on my podcast as well talking about how he drastically improved his SEO taking some very simple steps.
Do you use WordPress for your photography website? This podcast is for photographers looking to learn and do more with their WordPress photography websites. After all, the options are pretty limitless! Conversations are tailored to making WordPress more than just a tool and more of a part of your photography business. Your website should work for you, not just be a thing you have to have to seem legit. This podcast one of the more technical podcasts for wedding photographers but it’s definitely not overly technical.
This weekly podcast provides business tips, inspiration, and lessons learned to help wedding photographers go full-time and become successful. It’s hosted by Henry Chen of Aevitas Weddings, a wedding photographer based out of Los Angeles with a decade of experience photographing over 400 weddings. Henry has made his show stand out by making it one of the few podcasts for wedding photographers specifically.
Hosted by Julie Ferneau, Kate Mills, and Ashley DuChene, this podcast focuses on candid conversations about photography and business. The hosts and their guests openly share their ups and downs which definitely can make you feel less alone. Building a business is a rollercoaster and it’s helpful to know that you’re not the only one making mistakes along the way.
Jenna Kutcher, a Wisconsin photographer and educator, hosts this show for all the girl bosses out there (but again, there’s a lot for guys too!) Listening to Jenna feels very intimate as if she’s sharing her best tips with you over a drink. She openly shares tangible tips and hacks that she has used to become a self-made millionaire in photography, online courses, Instagram sponsorships, and navigating the world of being a social media influencer. Like the name implies, the podcast will light a fire under your ass and get you moving toward your goals.
Chamira Young hosts this podcast full of interviews with award-winning photographers. They discuss the lessons they’ve learned over the years, as well as tips, tricks, and how they have overcome their mistakes to become respected, ever-advancing professionals in their field. This podcast provides a behind-the-scenes look that will bring you more well-rounded value than a simple photography tutorial. After all, there is so much more to building a photography business than knowing how to use a camera! I’ve been on the podcast to talk about how to clone your best clients, how to use the Burger King Night Strategy, and how you can evolve your wedding business.
This podcast is unlike many of the others on this list because it’s so short, hence the name Business Bites. Of all of the podcasts for wedding photographers, this is shortest I’ve ever listened to. This bite-sized format of 10-15 minute episodes still packs a lot of value on topics including business, legal, and marketing strategies so you can easily and quickly stay protected and successful even if you’re short on time. The host, Rachel Brenke, has multiple businesses and 5 kids so she definitely knows a thing or two about being busy.
Wedding photographers assembleeee!!!!! In this podcast, co-hosts Andy Buscemi and Neal Urban discuss the art, craft, and business of wedding photography with industry leaders. This podcast stands out to me among all of the podcasts for wedding photographers because the hosts are entertaining, relatable, and very knowledgeable about all things photography and they are all about sharing that with everyone.
